In 2002 yet another initiative to serve the closer neighbourhood community - mostly from the Deep- Sea Slum area – was started – The Kanchan Ganga Borehole water initiative as it is called is specifically maintained to benefit community members from the close by areas of the Temple who need and can benefit from clean and free of any costs uninterrupted water supplies irrespective of religion, creed or cast.
